Couldn't find Hannuman today.
Oh well.
Took a train to town. dropped off some CVs i'm not really any closer to getting a job but thats fine. ill get one eventually.
Not much to say really i kinda just bummed around town saw some things.
They have amazing arcades and alleyway shopping centreish things. cities within cities.
There is so much around to see. I was recommended a place called Asian Bear Bar. apparently its pretty spectacular but i havent seen it yet.
i like mosaics.
Hey adam. that picture thing i gave you. ^ is the train station it is painted of.
Got a little bit of work tomorrow and a few days later this week. should be good for paying back debts and not much else.
Yeah. thats me pretty much. nothing too grand happened today.

The Great Escape
I enjoy Gwen stefani. Her thoughtful lyrics and impeccable dress sense set my monkey heart afire. I am also very pleased she is so aware of monkey culture. She is among the only pop artist i know that is willing to sing with the deep emotion that only the mating noise of a monkey can manage (00:16-00:32) I figure this means that she is down for a bit of playtime

I should take her out to dinner some time.
Today i escaped that hell hole. never again will i be confined to jeans or shirts or any type of cameron stanky clothes.
I took his skateboard and escaped!
Apparenly there are these cycleways that run through all the major suburbs on their way to town. Its a safe way to get to town on a bike (or skateboard) why the hell don't New Zealand cities have this?
The concrete was smooth and it was a great ride. i can see why Cameron loves skating. It follows the Yarra river all the way to town. The Yarra was looking wonderful today. A pristine brown.
Didn't see any animals in it. Not really surprised. I wouldn't wash myself in that. It might scour off my orange tan.
Its about 7 km to the city via this path and they have convenient seats and water fountains along the way (INVEST IN PUBLIC WORKS JOHN KEY YOU PRICK) I had a nap here and thought about how goddamn awesome i am. The lady in the car looked at me funny so made a charming face at her and she scowled harder.
Australian people are funny.
Along the path i found not one but three bouldering walls. It was amazing that the city council thought to build these. I could not use them despite having opposable thumbs i cannot actually move them out of prayer stance. Unfortunate as it was i had to move on.
Melbourne people like graffiti. I do too. i have always liked colour over grey. This is some of the Graffiti and it was pretty rocking.
I do not know what this is but it looks like a poodle. I dont like poodles because they look like prissy sheep but i like this one because its got some class.
This is me riding elephant. I do not like elephant because i feel that elephant is liked more than monkeys. Everyone know Ganesh but no one cares about Hannuman. I AM A GOD TOO DAMNIT. I show my dislike of elephant by putting my bum on his head. that will show him. I have been told that there are 50 of these elephants around Melbourne i am going to make it my mission to find them and put my bum on each and every one of them. That will show Ganesh.

I like this one because it had monkeys showing love on it. it made me think i should forgive Ganesh my brother.
Then i thought about all the noogies and i continued to put my butt on things

You know what New Zealand lacks? Street vendors.
Melbourne doesnt lack this

Damn that panda is happy.

This Elephant was incredible. it was completely covered in mosaic. it was really beautiful.
And now my butt is on it
9/50
Person who took picture could not get camera focused. Too many people walking by meant i didn't try again.
Blurry 10/50
After all that my butt was sore so i went down some alleys and hoped my butt didnt get any sorer because i did.
In Melbourne it seems that the local government has given the alleyways to the graffiti artists. Its incredible, they do some amazing work.
For some reason i thought these would come out good even though i took them while skateboarding.
But they didn't. regardless i like the photos. see that alcove up there ^ i sat and ate a burger there. it was mediocre but it was free.
I had a good escape today. i saw many things. talked to less people than i thought i shouldve but i had a good time. i made my way back home to take my place underneath my tree.
I think i'll call him dave.

*muffle* Fu-*muffle*
*muffle* LET ME *muffle* fucki*muffle* PANTS! *muffle* I swear t-*muffle* kill y- *muffle*
Not a hell of alot
CVs fucking everywhere.
Thats what my day consisted of.
I have walked from shop to shop all around Melbourne telling people how i'm a team player who loves talking to people and would sincerely like to not have to suck dick to keep myself alive.
I find it pretty important to state that why it is necessary that they give me a job.
I handed out twenty CVs today. to all sorts of funky cafes and shops down brunswick street.
I would reallyt love to show you guys some pictures but at the moment im not sure whether or not my camera works because i found a fucking camera on the ground.
I mean its all scratched up and has no SD card but there is a possibility that it does actually work. It looks pretty fucking good too.
So perhaps this blog will actually start to become what i want it to be with me taking pictures of hannuman everywhere.
I've found these elephants all over town. apparently there are fifty of them. i hope to find all of them by stumbling across them from time to time.
Hannuman doesn't like elephants because indians revere them more than they revere him and he thinks they steal his street cred with the divine.
anyway. i didnt do much today. just opened a bank account and handed out CVs
On my way home i was on the train and a girl sat infront of me. she had dreads here and there with beads in them, hippy pants and shittons of bracelets. she was singing so i asked her what she was singing "anything" she said and we started talking about... well.. anything.
When it came to my stop she told me that i was a nice person and should have this>>>>
It has little men carved into the beads.
We hugged and said goodbye to eachother. It really made my day.
Her name was Mia and i doubt i'll ever see her again. But it was nice and i cherish the kindness people bestow on strangers.
Thats all for today.
Seeya tomorrow.
p.s. didnt let hannu out of his pants today

My name is Hannuman and for the last few days i have been wrapped up in Camerons pants.
It is a horrific place. Camerons pants. He tells me it is for my protection. He tells me that i might smash if i were to be left in the bag uncovered by pants. He is a liar and only uses me for my devilish good looks and bright orange charm. It is painful, yes, but i am the god of courage and i will continue onward.
Atleast he let rest under this bitching tree on my brief reprieves from his stankass.
I will be talking to you guys later.
Courage be with you

Off and away.
OH where oh where has he gone today?
Hes off hes gone hes run a away.
He could be anywhere monkey friend of mine
He'll see world and have a good, good time.
(to the tune of the chorus of "last kiss")
Hannuman has started his adventure today.
Well actually hes started it the day before but because he had created a chakra cave deep in the depths of my backpack i didn't actually take a picture of him on the plane. I totally should've though.
Regardless. Hannu my main man has moved from Dunedin to Christchurch then across the ditch to wonderful ol Melbourne.
I'm aiming for this blog to do two things:
1. Tell everyone what i'm doing these days
2. To tell everyone the best things to see in Melbourne and around the world (if i ever manage to get there...)
So this blog is going to sound decidedly bi-polar. One paragraph might be mine and another might be hannus. lets hope you guys can understand who is who.
So Hannu and i arrived in melbourne and it was around this time i realised that i don't actually have my eftpos card. Which means i dont have access to all the money that i had saved for coming over here (a whopping 250 dollars) So that means that i had come to a new country with the plan to live there for a year or two with....
50 whole dollars.
oooh yeah!
I made my way to my sisters place pretty uneventfully. no problems there. I started talking to my sister about what i'm planning on doing for cash. She cracked up when i told her my monetary situation but i dont think she was at all surprised and i imagine that no one reading this would be surprised either.
Anyway i told her that my plan was to Train all year to get into NICA (national institute of circus arts). Planned to get a job and busk for a living until then.
So we sat down and wrote everything that i needed to get started here and i'll just give you a little run down on what is necessary:
Busking:
So apparently (and i shouldve really thought this would be the case) you need a busking license to busk in the Melbourne area. Now if i was playing music this would be easy but because i'm not i require
Permit: 20
fire blanket: 10
extinguisher: 30
rope (to mark out where my performance area is): 15
drip bucket: 5
Fire water (fuel): 100
Public liability insurance (incase i set someone alight): 250
New speaker charger: 30
Total: 460 dollars
Knowing you are fucked due to lack of organisation?
priceless.
Now thats just busking but suffice to say i am in a rather bad situation. To be honest however, my life is generally one type of mess like this after a mess like this after another.
But hey it makes for good stories.
A few things before i go:
Look up Cyr wheel improcirque on youtube. Its amazing.
Andrew bird is a pretty sweet artist. Anonanimal is a pretty cool song.
I didnt have much to say about Hannuman mainly because the pictures i took, I took on my phone. Which sucks because you need that CD that no one ever keeps so that i can load the pictures onto the computer. And saying where Hannuman went is sort of lame without pictures.
also this rocks too http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=XYlhLRK5548&feature =related
